NOVA is one of the Egyptian industrial companies in the field of producing household appliances.

The company had started this activity since 1977 in its premises located at Imbaba - Giza, the company was producing pulsator type washing machines with different capacities starting from the 1.5 kg Capacity baby washing m/c with &without heater in both enameled &stainless steel qualities, to the family size 4 kg capacity washing machines in the same qualities.
Beside these main products, there was some side products such as enameled water boilers 25 liters capacity
The main manufacturing activities was:
  1. Sheet metal processing
  2. Liquid painting
  3. Enameling
  4. Final Assembly
In 1985 the company had transferred some of its activities to its new site located in the 6th of October city, the transferred activities was
    • Final Assy lines
    • Powder painting
    • Some sheet metal activities
Other activities were transferred consequently.
In 1986 a new production line for metal sheathed tubular heating elements had started, the line is still producing all company's requirements of heating elements for the appliances, beside, the line is largely producing all types of industrial heating combinations utilizing its heating elements.
On 1992 the company started its production line for electrical water heaters in 30,40,50,60 and 80 liter capacity.
Nowadays the company is in a real change period, it started the Implementation of its quality system on the basis of the requirements of the ISO 9000 standard not only for the purpose of getting the certification, but the most important to have a system Impeded in all company's departments.
